FAQ
What do you actually check?
Around 38 checks, live, every time. The ones that decide whether your email reaches the inbox: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, blocklists, sender reputation and domain age. Then the domain underneath them: DNS, mail routing, your website and your registration.
Do I need to change anything, or send a test email?
No. Everything comes from public DNS records and your website, so there is nothing to install, connect or send. You type a domain and we look it up.
Will this tell me if my emails land in the inbox?
Not from a domain name alone, and be suspicious of anything that claims otherwise. Placement is decided per send, by what you write, who you write to and how fast you ramp. This report tells you whether your domain clears the bar before any of that is judged. Staying above it is the ongoing work: warming mailboxes, watching blocklists, keeping volume off one domain. Unify does that part for you, every day, for customers sending at 48 percent average open rates.
My records all pass. So why are my emails still bouncing?
Because authentication is the floor, not the ceiling. Bounces come from the list and the ramp: dead addresses, a cold mailbox pushed too hard, one domain carrying every send. Unify checks every address before it sends and spreads volume across warmed mailboxes, and customers bounce 3 to 6 times less than the industry norm.
How often should I run this?
After every DNS change, and monthly if nothing changes. Records drift: a new sending tool gets added to SPF and pushes it over the lookup limit, a DKIM key is rotated and never republished, a shared IP picks up a listing you had nothing to do with. A monthly check catches that. Continuous monitoring catches it the day it happens, which is what Unify watches for you.
Can Unify just run all of this for me?
Yes. That is the product. We create the mailboxes, get the DNS and authentication right on day one, warm them on a schedule, verify every address before it sends, and route volume so no domain carries the load. Customers send 100,000+ emails a month at a 48 percent average open rate, and nobody on their team opens a DNS console. See how Unify runs deliverability.
