Give every open deal a next step
Turn the latest activity and unresolved questions into one concrete action for each opportunity.
How it runs
- Step 1
Read the deal history
Review the stage, latest meeting notes, email activity and existing tasks for each open opportunity.
- Step 2
Find what is blocking progress
Identify unanswered questions, missing stakeholders and overdue commitments. Flag deals with too little context.
- Step 3
Recommend an owner and action
Suggest the next step and who should take it, with the activity that supports the recommendation.

Give me a recommended next step for each of my open opportunities
How it changes by who you sell to
- Software
- Security review, technical evaluation and pilot milestones are the steps that decide the deal. Ask for the next step to name which of those is open and who on their side owns it.
- Professional services
- Scope approval, delivery capacity and the proposal decision are the steps. Ask for the next step to say whether the partner has approved scope yet, since nothing moves before that.
- Financial services
- Next steps often wait on a review that has a date. Ask Unify to find the review date in the email thread and to make the recommendation relative to it.
- Manufacturing
- Site visits and pilots are the usual next step, so the plan should say who hosts them. Ask for the plant and the host contact on every recommended visit.
- Healthcare
- Procurement has a calendar, and a next step that ignores it slips. Ask Unify to check the system's fiscal year and procurement windows before it recommends a date.

Questions about this workflow
What is the recommendation based on?
The stage, the last activity and the email thread for each open opportunity in Salesforce or HubSpot, read through Gmail or Outlook.
Does it write the next step into the CRM?
If you ask it to. By default it returns the list for review; you can have it create the task or update the next-step field.
Can it spot deals with no real next step?
Yes. Deals where the last step has passed or nothing is scheduled are flagged first.
How often should I run it?
Weekly, before pipeline review, so every deal walks in with a step.
