How to Integrate Hubspot with Unify

Intro to HubSpot Integration
Integrating HubSpot with Unify lets you create a seamless, intelligent bridge between your CRM and your outbound workflows. By connecting the two systems, you unlock bi-directional syncing that keeps your CRM clean while ensuring that Unify is always working with the most up-to-date data. This integration gives you the ability to enrich Unify with HubSpot data, respect existing suppression rules, and push back enriched and actioned data into HubSpot to maintain it as your system of record—all without data duplication or the risk of overwriting key fields.
To get started, log into your Unify account and head to the Settings section. From there, select the HubSpot tab and click “Set up HubSpot.” You’ll be prompted to authenticate with your HubSpot credentials. Once authentication is successful, Unify will confirm your connection and redirect you to the integration settings page, where you can begin customizing your setup.
Unify offers granular control over how data moves between systems. You’ll be able to map fields across three key HubSpot objects—Companies, People, and Emails. For each object, click “Update Mapping” and define the Unify field you want to map, the direction of the sync (whether read-only or read/write), and the corresponding field in HubSpot. If you’re unsure where to begin, Unify provides smart default mappings that can serve as a reliable starting point and be refined later as your outbound motion becomes more sophisticated.
Once mappings are in place, activate the sync by clicking the “Resume” button. Unify will immediately begin pulling in HubSpot data, allowing you to start building outbound workflows with CRM-powered filtering and segmentation. You can pause the sync at any time by toggling the same button.
To enable data to flow back into HubSpot, turn on the “Enable Writing to HubSpot” toggle. When this toggle is active, Unify will write campaign results and enriched data back into your CRM in real time. This allows HubSpot to remain your centralized source of truth—automatically updated with insights and actions from your outbound engine in Unify.
With the integration now live, your team can run exclusion-based audiences using HubSpot data, trigger outbound sequences based on CRM events, and keep contact and company records enriched and accurate across platforms.
