Intro to Unify Intent

Unify Intent gives your team the power to see which companies are visiting your website, transforming anonymous traffic into actionable insights. By activating intent tracking, you can prioritize outreach based on real-time buying behavior—capturing signals from high-interest accounts the moment they land on your site. With Unify’s powerful enrichment engine, your team gains instant visibility into who’s browsing, even before they fill out a form or raise their hand. The setup process is quick and seamless, requiring just two steps: integrating your website and enabling website intent tracking.

To begin, you’ll integrate Unify with your website by installing a lightweight tracking tag. The recommended method is to copy the JavaScript snippet provided in your Unify account and paste it into your site’s HTML, either in the <head> or just before the closing </body> tag. Once embedded, the tag will begin collecting visitor data immediately. For more advanced use cases, such as tracking custom events or user actions, you can call the window.unify or unify methods directly from your browser or application to log those events with precision.

If your website is built on a modern frontend framework like React, or you prefer more granular control, Unify offers alternative integration methods. You can install the Unify client directly into your application or integrate it via Segment to unify data flows across your marketing stack. These options offer deeper customization while preserving the same robust intent tracking capabilities.

Once your site is integrated, the final step is to activate website intent from within your Unify dashboard. Simply navigate to the Settings panel, open the Unify Intent section under Integrations, and click “Enable.” From that point forward, Unify will continuously reveal the companies visiting your site in real time—no additional configuration or code changes needed. This functionality is powered by Unify’s proprietary de-anonymization engine, which blends data from leading sources including 6Sense, Clearbit, Demandbase, and Snitcher to ensure high match rates and reliable identification.

With Unify Intent enabled, your team gains a powerful edge in outbound. Sellers can prioritize outreach based on live web activity, while marketers gain deeper visibility into campaign performance and buyer behavior. By identifying which companies are engaging with your site—and when—Unify equips you to move faster, personalize more, and convert interest into pipeline before your competitors even realize it’s there.
