The Auth0 Play

The Auth0 Play is a high-precision outbound automation designed to detect whether companies in your territory use a specific technology—in this case, Auth0—and then prospect and sequence into the right personas based on that insight. Rather than manually combing through websites and login flows, this play leverages Unify’s AI agents to perform browser-based inspections and trigger intelligent, persona-specific outreach when the signal is confirmed.

Start by creating an AI agent in the Agents tab of Unify. Name it clearly—for example, “Does company use Auth0?”—and set the record type to “Company.” In your prompt, instruct the agent to navigate to the company’s website, locate the login page, and determine if Auth0 is being used for authentication. The agent will return a True/False result, and behind the scenes, it inspects the DOM, checks network requests, and logs its reasoning steps so you can audit exactly how it arrived at its conclusion.

Next, build your play in the Plays tab. Set the trigger to fire when a company enters your defined territory audience—this could be from CRM, an uploaded CSV, or a dynamically maintained segment. Add the AI Agent node and connect your Auth0 detection agent. Only companies that return True will proceed down the funnel.

From there, use a Prospecting Node to identify the right people at the qualified companies. You might define two personas: a CTO persona (titles like “Chief Technology Officer”) and an Engineering Leader persona (titles like “VP of Engineering” or “Director of Engineering”). Set the number of contacts to prospect per company—say, three—and enable enrichment and geo filters as needed. You can also exclude irrelevant titles like “Intern” or “Analyst” to improve lead quality.

Once leads are identified, use a Loop node to iterate through each person and route them into the appropriate sequence. CTOs might receive messaging that references your platform’s security capabilities, while engineering leaders might receive value propositions around scalability or integration workflows. Each sequence should mention the detected Auth0 usage to create instant relevance.

After setup, activate the play and let it run continuously. Any time a company is added to your audience, Unify will qualify them via the agent, find your ICP, and send them role-specific messaging that reflects their tech stack. For example, if the agent inspects a winery’s website and finds no login flow, it logs a False response and automatically disqualifies the company—saving your team time and effort.

This play is a must-run for sales teams targeting buyers in DevTools, APIs, security infrastructure, or any vertical where tooling adoption is a critical signal. It turns what would be hours of manual research into a real-time, always-on system for discovering high-fit, high-intent leads—and turning them into pipeline.
