The Parking Lot Play

The Parking Lot Play
The Parking Lot Play is a smart automation strategy for sellers targeting companies that require on-site physical security—specifically for parking lots. Instead of relying on reps to manually dig through Google Maps or property databases to determine whether a company has a parking lot, this play uses Unify’s AI agents to automate the entire qualification and outbound process.
Start by creating an AI agent inside Unify. Name it something like “Does the company have a parking lot on site?” and set the record type to Company. The agent prompt should instruct the system to search Google Maps and the web to determine if the company has visible parking facilities. The response type is True/False, and once created, the agent can be tested on companies you know to have (or not have) parking lots to validate accuracy.
Next, define your target persona. For this play, it’s the Head of Physical Security—or equivalents like Director of Facilities, Head of Security, or Physical Security Lead. Unify’s persona builder lets you add related titles and exclude irrelevant ones, giving you a clean, ICP-aligned list of decision-makers.
Now it’s time to put the automation in motion. Head to the Plays section and create a new Play from scratch. Set the trigger to fire whenever a company enters your defined territory audience. Add the Parking Lot AI Agent to qualify accounts—marking only those where the agent returns True as qualified for outreach.
For those qualified companies, use a Prospecting node to find up to three contacts matching your physical security persona. Then, insert a Loop node to process each contact individually, and connect it to a Sequence node that delivers targeted messaging written specifically for physical security leaders.
The result is a fully automated outbound workflow: Unify detects companies with parking lots, finds the relevant decision-makers, and delivers tailored messaging—without any manual research or lead sourcing required.
This play is a prime example of how AI agents in Unify eliminate overhead, streamline qualification, and create highly contextual outbound motions. If your product relies on environmental or infrastructure-based triggers, like physical presence or facilities data, the Parking Lot Play gives you a repeatable system to turn those signals into booked meetings.
