The video begins by showing how to access the Plays section, create a new play from the Sequence New Hires template, and ensure all dependencies are configured before customizing the setup.
Inside the play builder, the tutorial explains how to configure the trigger node to define your audience. By default, the play finds all recent hires across your instance, but it can also be narrowed to specific territories or target account lists using company filters and Salesforce data. Once the audience is set, the next step is prospecting and sequencing. The video demonstrates how to assign outreach based on Salesforce account ownership so emails come from the right rep, and how to route each persona—like heads of sales and heads of marketing—into the appropriate sequence automatically.
