Traditionally, building a lookalike list has been a manual process — searching Google or LinkedIn, identifying target companies, prospecting your ideal customer profile (ICP) contacts, and adding them to sequences one by one. With Unify’s new Lookalikes functionality, this process can now be fully automated in just minutes.
The Lookalikes feature allows you to start with a seed list of companies — sourced from CRM data or website visitors — and generate a list of similar organizations that match your target criteria. Using the Lookalikes Play template in the Plays panel, you can configure filters such as relevance score, employee count, territory, and industry preferences. For example, you might pull a seed company like SoFi from Salesforce, set the relevance to above 95, target companies with over 100 employees in the United States, and instantly see a curated list of strong matches.
Once generated, Unify automatically prospects your ICP at each lookalike company, loops through those contacts, enrolls them into the right sequences, and syncs all activity back to Salesforce. The process can be made dynamic by setting the trigger to run whenever new closed-won deals or qualified website visitors are added, ensuring your lookalike list updates and prospects continuously.
This automation turns what used to be a time-consuming research task into a repeatable, data-driven growth strategy.
