Intro to Companies

The Companies tab in Unify is your central hub for real-time visibility into which companies are visiting your website, how they’re engaging, and what intent signals they’re showing. It plays a critical role in identifying warm opportunities, tracking buying behavior, and informing targeted outbound plays based on actual web activity. In this module, you’ll learn how to navigate this dashboard, interpret visitor data, and act on high-intent accounts.

To access the Companies tab, log into Unify and head to Explore > Companies in the left-hand menu. This will take you to a dynamic list of all companies that have visited your website and performed trackable actions. You can search for specific company names, sort the list by recent activity, and customize the columns you see—letting you hide less relevant fields like record owner or last sales activity. This flexibility allows you to tailor the view to match your workflow or territory.

Clicking into a company gives you access to deeper intent insights, including an intent score (like medium or high), CRM matches such as existing contacts or open opportunities, and a full record of page views from both known and anonymous visitors. For example, if multiple visitors from a company are browsing your pricing page or playbooks, you can tailor your outreach accordingly, referencing those materials in your messaging to add relevance and urgency.

You can also dive into the activity history of individual users by clicking their name from the company record. Inside the Activities tab, you’ll see a chronological timeline of their visits, pages viewed, and overall engagement—aggregated across both identified and anonymous users. This level of detail helps you prioritize accounts that show sustained interest or repeated interactions.

In addition to tracking inbound engagement, Unify also supports custom company lists for outbound campaigns. For example, if you’re planning a trip to New York and want to meet with companies while you’re there, you can upload a CSV of target accounts—containing fields like company name and website—and turn that list into a targetable audience within a Play. This allows you to run highly specific outbound based on geography, events, or strategic focus.

Altogether, the Companies tab equips you with an actionable, behavior-driven overview of account-level engagement. By combining web activity with CRM insights and custom workflows, Unify gives you a powerful starting point for launching timely, tailored outbound motions.
