The LinkedIn Profile Views Play transforms passive social interest into active pipeline by automatically engaging prospects who’ve recently viewed your LinkedIn profile. These viewers are signaling intent—but without a system in place, most sales reps miss the chance to follow up. This play ensures every view gets the attention it deserves with enriched contact data, persona-based routing, and tailored outreach at scale.
Start by opening LinkedIn Sales Navigator and navigating to the Buyer Intent filter. Select “Viewed your profile recently” and layer on filters such as geography (e.g., San Francisco) or titles like Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, or Head of Growth. If you’ve integrated Salesforce, you can also apply CRM territory filters directly. Once your filters are set, export the list using PhantomBuster’s “Sales Navigator Search Export” tool, which gives you a CSV containing names and LinkedIn profile URLs.
Upload this list to the People tab in Unify. During the CSV upload, turn on email enrichment—Unify will fill in missing contact info using just the LinkedIn profile links. Map your fields (First Name, Last Name, LinkedIn URL), and Unify will handle the rest.
Next, define your personas in Unify. For example, you might create a “Head of Marketing” persona that includes titles like VP of Marketing and Director of Demand Gen, while excluding roles like Brand Manager. These personas can be reused across plays and enable precise routing for outbound messaging.
Now it’s time to build your play. Set the trigger to fire when a person enters your “LinkedIn Profile Views” audience. Add a sequence node and configure routing logic based on persona. For example, Heads of Growth go into your Growth Leader sequence, while Heads of Marketing get messaging specific to their priorities. Each sequence should include a line referencing their profile view, such as:
“Hey [First Name], noticed you checked out my LinkedIn profile—curious if [relevant pain point] is something you’re exploring?”
Once this play is live, you can re-run it weekly with just a new export—no manual email writing required. You’ll consistently capture warm interest, engage with relevance, and turn profile views into booked meetings.
