This Year in People

Unify is nothing without its people. This year the team grew, evolved, and leveled up in ways that shaped every part of our business. We hired incredible teammates, opened new offices, celebrated individual achievements, and watched leaders step into new roles. Here is the story of the people who made this our biggest year yet.

A year of new faces

2025 was our biggest year of team growth ever. Interest in joining Unify reached an all-time high, with over 15,000 applicants raising their hands to be part of what we are building. It was both energizing and validating to see so many people excited about our mission, our momentum, and the culture we are creating.

From that pool, we welcomed 55 exceptional new hires across engineering, product, sales, post-sales, growth, operations, design, and talent. These teammates joined us from leading companies such as Scale AI, Monday, and Waymo, as well as top schools including Stanford and Columbia. They strengthened the capabilities of the entire company.

A few highlights from this year's incoming class:

Ethan Dursht, Growth: After bringing on Unify at two previous companies, Ethan joined us to scale our internal automated outbound engine and accelerate our growth teamperformance.
Kevin Kim, Software Engineer: Kevin joined after founding Remy and has already helped replatform our core data querying engine.
Katie Africk, Head of Implementation and Support: Katie joined us as a new leader from Tropic, and is already building out a best-in-class onboarding program and support experience for every new customer.

A big part of this hiring push was thanks to Haley Tran, one of our Business Ops wizards, who spotted a critical engineering hiring need and took it on with enthusiasm, even though it was well outside her scope. Her work helped grow our engineering team from 8 to 17, with even more ambitious plans ahead.

As our headcount expanded, our space did too. We opened two new offices in San Francisco and New York, giving our teams new hubs to collaborate, innovate, and build. Inside those walls, we shared over 300,000 Slack messages as we worked to move faster, together.

A year defined by connection

As the team grew, culture grew with it. This year brought countless moments that strengthened how we show up together. Some favorites include:

Competitive Padel tournaments
Halloween costume catwalks
A team outing on a catamaran
100s of team dinners in & outside the office
And dozens and dozens of birthday cupcakes

Beyond the day-to-day fun, we came together for four unforgettable offsites in Nashville, Colorado Springs, Sonoma, and San Francisco. These gatherings deepened trust, strengthened alignment, and created space for big thinking about what comes next.

A year of recognition, mobility, and standout achievement

2025 brought even more achievement to celebrate. We recognized excellence both inside and outside Unify, including one Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in Connor Heggie who received the well-deserved recognition for his impact on Unify and the GTM category.

It was also a major year for mobility. Teammates stepped into bigger roles, took on more ownership, and shaped the company’s next chapter.

Cole Courson, Post Sales, was promoted for the impact he drove helping our largest customers see value. He is also a culture leader who brings a can-do attitude to every problem and famously rebranded Thursdays as ‘Friday Juniors’.
Tameem Al-Taweel, Sales, went from NBR to Growth AE in six months, then advanced again to Mid Market AE based on performance and trajectory.
Charlie O’Neil, Growth, elevated from a high-performing New Business Representative to a key contributor on the Growth team, expanding his scope and elevating our channel strategy.
Neema Zarrabian, Sales, stepped up from Account Executive to lead our Growth Sales team and shape how we reach the next generation of customers.

This year showed what mobility looks like at Unify: people stepping boldly into roles that match their potential and opening the door to what is possible.

Here is to the people who made this year possible

2025 brought our biggest evolution as a team. We scaled, we sharpened, and we set a new standard for what is possible at Unify. And next year, we will grow even further with the same grit, heart, and ambition that defined this one. Here is to the people who make Unify, Unify.

Unified Team, Unified Dream.
